Eight teams from three regions have been invited to the Dutch event's closed qualifiers.
ESL Challenger Rotterdam is taking place on October 14-16 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, featuring a $100,000 prize pool, alongside a spot at ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference for the winner.
The tournament will feature eight teams, of which four will be invited directly and the other four will come from regional closed qualifiers, with each awarding one spot at the event. Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek's Nixuh is the only confirmed team at the event so far, having won the South African qualifier.
The European closed qualifier will consist of four teams coming from two different open qualifiers and the four invitees, which are Entropiq, Eternal Fire, FORZE and Sprout. The event will run in a double-elimination best-of-three format on September 16-18.

The North American qualifier, running on September 17-18 will comprise of four teams, with Squirtle Squad and ATK being invited to the closed stage. TeamOne have also secured their spot by winning the first open qualifier.

Imperial and paiN are the two teams invited to the South American qualifier, set to take place during September 14-15, with two more teams joining them from the open qualifiers.
